CINCHQuilt™ began over two years ago, inspired by a professional quilter in our family. It all started as a solution to a common, yet challenging and time-consuming, task faced by memory and t-shirt quilting—efficiently aligning different-sized images, logos, blocks, and patches within a quilt’s dimensions. Our user-friendly feature, CINCHFit™, streamlined the process, making layout quicker and more enjoyable.
The success of CINCHFit™ inspired us to expand the program to meet the broader needs of the quilting community. Many quilters found traditional design and layout software frustrating—difficult to use, not beginner-friendly, and, frankly, not fun. That’s why we created something better: a modern, portable, and intuitive solution that makes quilting enjoyable again.
CINCHQuilt™ isn’t just for memory quilts, it is for all types of quilters, designed to save time and enhance creativity.

Technology touches nearly every aspect of life, and quilt design software isn’t anything new. Other products have been around since the 1980s. However, CINCHQuilt™ stands apart—completely online with no downloads, no installs, accessible on multiple devices (including tablets and phones), and offering free automatic upgrades so you’re always up to date. You can access it anywhere with an internet connection, and upgrades happen automatically, so you’re always using the latest version without needing to purchase anything extra.
Our goal was to create a layout and design tool that’s easy for beginners, yet powerful enough for experienced quilters. No matter your skill level, CINCHQuilt™ is truly for everyone.
Our Journey
In May 2024, we launched a beta program inviting 75 quilters to join us—ranging from beginners to professionals, across varying age ranges. This diverse group used CINCHQuilt™ over eight weeks, providing feedback that helped us refine and improve the software.
